Artist Statement

The organic material and practice of hand molding allow me to build a personal connection with the earth and reflect the imperfections of the human soul. 

Each of my sculptures personifies the most vulnerable parts of the human spirit, expressed through the lens of my own reality. 

And I hope for my art to act as a medium for the viewer to connect to their own soul, and learn about their perceptions and emotions as reflected in my sculptures.

My approach infuses clay with the raw emotions and physical manifestations of my inner self, and communicates my experiences through the language of sculpture.
